Honeywell Building Technologies (HBT) is looking for a talented Quality Engineer to provide certification oversight that enables the delivery of innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of customers.

You will be responsible foradherence to certification requirements, procedures and processes.You will be working with leadership members from various locations to assess all relevant requirements and compliance to regulations and procedures.

You will drive process initiatives and collaborate with local and global teams to ensure compliance with customer requirements, regulatory agencies, government regulations and engineering specifications while instilling site accountability for governance of the Quality System, product acceptance and, product quality.

Key responsibilities

Participate in evaluation panels and regulatory reviews

Maintain communication with regulatory agencies

Communicate Procedure Manual Changes

Provide information and references for regulatory topics

Standardize and simplify processes

Provide trainings on regulatory topics

You must have

Bachelor’s Degree in engineering (Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics or related)

Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver optimal solutions

Organized with the ability to manage a diverse workload

Organized and thorough with required documentation

Clearly and concisely convey subtle or complex messages to a variety of audiences

Advanced English leveland strong verbal and written communication skills

Mentoring and knowledge sharing skills

We value

5+ years working with regulatory agencies (UL, CE, FM, CSA, NOM, IEC)

5+years working with interpretation and application of standards (UL, CSA, IEC, ANSI, MOH, CE, FM, EMC, ESD, IC, and FCC)

Experience with regulations and norms concepts.

Experience with electrical safety principles and energetic efficiency norms.

Experience with wireless technologies, control and buildings automation industry.

Familiarity with analysis of electrical schematics, diagrams and mechanical drawings.

Experience with reading engineering test reports

Experience with product development regulatory processes

Experience with understanding technical documentation and creating technical documentation from scratch and with little information.

Proven experience with non-certification product cases.

Strong multi-tasking / multiple project management ability for compliance projects

Proven experience with non-certification product cases.

Strong analysis and critical thinking skills.

Self-driven and proactive attitude.

Ability to collaborate with local and global teams.

Ability to work within a global organization

Experience with MS Office suite and Adobe Acrobat.

Knowledge of Six Sigma / Lean Manufacturing tools is a plus

Experience with Information Security compliance and regulations is a plus
