Job Description

We are currently executing a search for one of the world’s fastest growing providers of automation and provisioning software for Telecommunications and Cable firms.

We are currently looking for a Sales Director to manage the CALA region. The goal of this role will be to leverage new and grow existing relationships with large Communications Providers.

The focus will be selling flagship software products but there will also be a quotient of resource sales required; professional services, consulting, sales engineering.

Ideally we are looking for someone who is well established within the enterprise communications space across the CALA area.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with the right contacts to drive some very solid business all while getting properly rewarded.

We need someone who can both hunt and farm opportunities and clients to ultimately deliver some solid numbers. The consistent growth and importance of Communications firms in the CALA region will provide an excellent background for a driven salesperson to learn and earn.Responsibilities

  • Hunt down and develop new relationships in the CALA region.
  • Manage distributed team of Sales, Sales Engineers, across the CALA region.
  • Manage pipeline, CRM, and reports as needed.
  • Develop presentations and proposals for major clients.
  • Travel as needed to deliver presentations and proposals to prospective and existing clients.
  • Provide feedback and examine the market for new products, opportunities, and marketing.
  • Properly identify, qualify, and progress opportunities to close.
  • Leverage industry contacts for opportunities.
  • Look for new partnerships that can help drive business.
  • Skill set

  • Degree from accredited College or University.
  • Solid industry experience in Network or Telco with solid established contacts.
  • 7 years’ experience selling enterprise software or services within the communications space.
  • Proven history in developing accounts and managing distributed teams.
  • Solid understanding of telco / networks products and solutions.
  • Flexibility to communicate across the CALA region; Spanish, English, Portuguese is an asset.
  • Proven sales performance at the C level with a well-established foothold in the CALA Communications Market.
  • Very solid communications skills; verbal, written, presentation.
  • Ability to travel up to 60% internationally.
