Monitor risk controls (Acquisitions, Existing Customer Management, Collections, and Fraud, Internal Policies among others).
Execute validations according to established standards around the credit cycle and Consumer Risk processes and policies.
Propose viable strategies for improvement, standardization and document protocols of each monitoring activity.
Analyze and report detected deviations.
Identify risks and impacts of the credit product, proposing corrections, adjustments and improvements to processes.
Perform data analysis and reconciliations from different sources.
Work closely with process owners to challenge their controls, according to policies, standards and any applicable regulation.
Maintain a strong control environment at all times; escalate deviations in accordance with corporate protocols and / or based on prudent judgment.
Excellent verbal & written English communication skills.
Able to make decisions on matters pertaining to aspects of riskother than credit, such as franchise, reputation risk and country risk.
The candidate should have a general understanding of bankingindustry, financial markets and industry related regulations and policies.
Ability to process a large amount of information and quicklyassess Credit Risk. Attention to detail in addition to excellent research andanalytical skills.
Candidates should be adaptable to change and willing to work in afast paced environment with a positive attitude.
Deliver analysis based on high-risk scenarios, appropriatelyassessing situations based on data, experience, intuition, and judgment.
Desirable, work experience in Consumer Credit RiskManagement, CreditOperations (Collections / Underwriting / Fraud / Cross Sell) is necessary.
SAS, SQL programming, desired.
