Position Overview

As the Manager, Field Services Latin America, you will be responsible for the development, startup, and operation of Invenergy’s Mexico-based Field Services program.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, select, train and manage a team of field service technicians responsible for wind turbine major maintenance repairs.
  • Prepare and implement operating and maintenance procedures ensuring compliance with countries within Latin America where the team will execute work.
  • Develop training and safety programs to support all major maintenance methods and associated certifications across multiple OEM platforms.
  • Develop major maintenance qualification program
  • Develop equipment and tooling certification program
  • Work closely with US based Operations, Engineering, EHS, Asset Management to communicate current and future scopes of work.
  • Work with customers to coordinate major maintenance services and provide technical support on different OEM platforms.
  • Develop schedules for and provide oversight to field service personnel responsible for wind turbine major component repair and replacement, and general site support.
  • Provide technical support to determine appropriate repair processes.
  • Procure tooling, parts, materials, services, and support resolutions of technical issues.
  • Ensure compliance with all project safety, environmental and contractual responsibilities.
  • Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related technical discipline
  • A minimum 2 years of supervisory / management experience
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in major maintenance and up tower repair work
  • Extensive knowledge major maintenance procedures across multiple OEMs different platforms
  • Ability to work effectively with all level of personnel and to work with minimal supervision
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English and Spanish
  • Able to Travel 25% to support traveling teams and collaborate with support groups
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Software
  • Proficient in organizing and leading remote travel teams
  • Able to prioritize and respond quickly in fast paced environment
  • Ability to conduct business with a high level of professionalism and technical expertise
  • Extensive knowledge major maintenance procedures across multiple OEMs different platforms
  • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office Software
