The NXP Manufacturing IT Applications Team is growing in Guadalajara, Mexico. We are looking for full-stack, front-end only and back-end only web developers.
Our team creates and maintains innovative web applications and web-services to support NXP’s manufacturing operations in North America, Europe and Asia.
Our applications provide operational and business intelligence enabling manufacturing to meet cost, quality, cycle time and delivery goals.
This position will be responsible for design, implementation, testing, documentation, and maintenance of new and legacy mobile, desktop, web and service-oriented applications.
These applications form the front-end to a world-class manufacturing execution system that has won numerous awards and industry recognition for its capabilities and robustness.
If hired, you will join an agile team that uses continuous integration and automated testing to ensure fast delivery of working software.
You’ll develop applications using many leading technologies such as Groovy, Hibernate, Java, Spring, JQuery, Angular, and Oracle on the Linux and Windows platforms.
The team refreshes its hardware and software stack on a regular basis to stay current and to leverage new technology.
The position works closely with product owners and other key stakeholders to understand manufacturing related requirements and opportunities to engineer innovative software solutions that help Freescale manufacturing continue to meet aggressive goals.
Each member of our capable development staff shares in maintaining our legacy software and providing Level 2 and Level 3 support to the operations teams.
Travel may be required 2-4 times per year to support implementation and planning activities.
