Job Profile / description
The Buyer is responsible to :
Help other departments personnel determine the most suitable product or service to meet their needs considering the objectives of the entire organization.
Find the best source to meet this organization's objectives, to negotiate the most favorable agreement possible, and to prepare the documentation for that agreement in accordance with all laws and so that the agreement protects this organization's interest.
Follow-up or expedite orders to see that they are delivered as scheduled.
Resolve discrepancies or negotiate settlements to the best possible long-term advantage of this organization.
High energy, drive to investigate / results, follow up and resolve open items
Analytical skills to determine logical flow of activities
Inter personnel skill (Customer relationship)
Good team player
Required Skills Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills)
Bachelor's degree in business, engineering or related field
Sound Communication Skills (85% Bilingual Spanish - English)
1 Year experience in Purchasing
Should be proactive and results oriented
Computer skills (MS Office Proficient)
Proficiency in analyzing and solving problems related to requisitions and Purchase Orders
Outstanding human relation skills evident in the ability to work well with the team and across all levels
Strong ability to give attention to details, as well as tested organizational skills
