The key responsibilities of this position are as follows : Marketing, underwriting, and servicing of Financial Lines products Building and maintaining broker relationships Responsible for renewal retention, new business production and account rounding.
Develop new business opportunities as well as develop cross-sell opportunities for other AIG divisions. Risk analysis and pricing which includes rate building, pricing methodology, claims process and requirements Policies and regulations regarding policy provisions and contracts, coverage constructions, insurance principles, regulations and legal requirements, governance.
Portfolio management to apply underwriting control mechanisms as monthly measures, annual studies, peer reviews, etc. Distribution abilities to drive results towards sales targets.
Systems and processes including referral processes , understanding and abiding by letter of authority, keeping and, where applicable, improving response time as per standard operating procedures, maintain contract certainty.
Optimizing work process identifying areas of opportunity to reduce variances in organization's processes, deliver high quality products and services meeting needs and requirements from internal and external customers.
What we are looking for Candidate must have excellent analysis and interpersonal skills, as well as strong marketing and negotiation skills.
Candidate will demonstrate excellent organizational skills and have the ability to handle multiple tasks in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
Effective problem solving is a core competence. Preferable previous insurance experience. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Law or Actuarial.
