Responsibilities / Tasks

  • Develop service portfolio in close cooperation with BAs to suit the country / regional approach
  • Implement the service support systems and ensure a One-GEA approach to customers within the country / region (cooperation with Head of Service)
  • Provide technical support for customer / dealers
  • Manage warranty process
  • Develop local talent within the service sales support team.
  • Operate in partnership with sales teams to identify gaps or opportunities within service portfolio to maximize revenue and improve overall customer experience.
  • Manage day to day activities of service sales support team to ensure consistent approach and optimized performance.
  • Contract development / management
  • Work with country Head of Service and BAs to fine-tune service sales portfolio including service level agreements
  • Coordinate development of service sales strategy within country / region, consistent with the One-GEA approach
  • Lead service sales support activities, allocate resources and prioritize initiatives
  • Manage CRM system(s), provide technical support, training and maintain installed equipment databases.
  • Drive harmonization of systems, in cooperation with responsible BA / SSC
  • Coordinate service sales planning, forecasting and reporting
  • Ensure employee engagement by effectively communicating service sales portfolio and market approach.
  • Work together with regional / country heads of equipment sales to ensure coordinated support.
  • Internal customers : Employees, Country Head of Service, Country Heads of Sales, Regionally responsible service sales management in BA Equipment and BA Solutions
  • External customers : Customers, industry associations, consultants, agents, dealers.
  • Type of communication : All forms written and verbal. Face to face meetings.
  • Your Profile / Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in an engineering discipline : Mechanical, Chemical or Industrial Engineering.
  • Service or capital equipment sales experience in Service or engineering environment.
  • English fluent.
  • Customer service or sales experience
  • Experience of managing remote team members
  • Familiarity with GEA service offerings and local market requirements of different customer groups
  • Excellent communicator, written and verbal, able to work with individuals (internal and external) across a wide range of levels, functions, brands and cultures
  • Knowledge of support systems, CRM, SAP etc.
  • Experience with contract development.
  • Can inspire and motivate team
  • Strong communicator at all levels
  • Listens carefully, contributes own opinions in a constructive matter
  • Can delegate tasks effectively, whilst maintaining involvement and responsibility for outcomes.
