Purchasing function driven by MRP messages and Pull System signals ( Kanban, ROP, etc )
Ensure the correct & timely MRP execution and follow up including also any other Purchasing functions / skills required to guarantee the proper material supply for the production lines.
Ability to deal with suppliers and follow up with them on the delivery of raw materials necessary for production.
Ability to interact with other areas and to provide internal customers with an appropriate and quality service.
Participates in the effectiveness Supplier evaluation and material control standards.
Participates on the design, planning and coordination of new Kanban candidates.
Identifies and resolves readily identifiable, clearly-defined problems.
Problem-solving skills and ability to communicate and address problems with management.
Industrial Engineer / Administrative related disciplines, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Demonstrates a good grasp of knowledge and principles on Purchasing processes, MRP, Lean principles, Kanban methodology & Suppliers Management and Performance improvement / follow up.
Ability to work with Excel -macros & query s extremely desirable-
Successfully applies knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of Purchasing & Supply chain management.
2-5 years of experience in related field and successful demonstration of Key Responsibilities and Knowledge as presented above.
