This position develops and manages programs to ensure material availability and delivery with leadership responsibility over the Warehouse, Shipping, and Production Planning functions.

Key areas of responsibility include planning, budgeting, resource management, warehouse, and continuous improvement.

Works closely with the appropriate forecasting personnel to convert marketing / sales forecasts into achievable production plans that meet the company’s targeted lead-time objectives.

These activities are accomplished through the effective use of sound MRP and capacity planning techniques and require constant interaction with the Manufacturing managers to ensure delivery objectives can be met.

Responsibilities :

Physical inventories, annual - cyclical counts.

Monitor inventory levels and access to the material.

Work with management to identify supply needs.

Recommend solutions to existing processes to reduce waste and increase quantity.

Record and assess all materials quality, movement, and expenditure.

Manage the distribution of supplies in the organization.

Collaborate with management to plan forecasting models.

Oversee and support subordinates and new employees.

Prepare and file detailed records on procurement activity, quantity, and vendors.

Design and maintain department budgets.

Requirements :

Bachelor’s degree in Logistics or relevant field.

A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role in medical Industry.

Proven managerial experience.

Solid understanding of supply chain and inventory management systems.

Advanced knowledge of forecasting and budgeting processes.

Outstanding communication and leadership skills.

Analytical mind with excellent problem-solving abilities

Bilingual (English- Spanish)
