Responsibilities :

Execute manual test cases during Agile sprints based on the direction of the QA project.

Create, update and maintain regression test cases and Identify scenarios for Automation testing

Develop and execute automated tests using the Selenium Framework harness in a Java / Jenkins environment

Develop and execute automated tests using native app testing framework (Appium mobility)

Participate in a test automation tool selection process for an automated Mobile Apps harness in a Java / Jenkins environment.

Participate in project-wide reviews of requirements, detailed design documents.

Effectively communicate testing activities and findings in oral and written formats.

Integrate the test suites into the test management system and Continuous Integration Server.

Participate in all test activities within a project and provide inputs from QA’s perspective

Identify, log and track defects and report defect status to project management

Understand Automation test framework and continually develop and improve the same

Propose and document ideas for Test Automation best practices

Work with Agile Sprint Teams to write new and maintain existing test scripts using an existing Selenium Web driver framework.

Mentor junior staff on sound QA automated testing methodologies, as well as sound business principles such as time and project management, communication skills.

Experience in Test Life cycle.

Qualifications

Experience using test management tools such as Jira and ALM (3+ years)

Proficient in knowledge of the Testing Life Cycle (3+ years)

Good expierence in Selenium Web driver (2+ years)

Strong knowledge on API / Postman / JavaScript

A solid base of knowledge on Java programming (3+ years)

Experience performing testing with Appium at a basic level (at least 2 years)

HP QC at an intermediate level is needed (3+ years)

Very good analytical and problem solving skills (3+ years)

An advanced level of English (oral and written) is required

Solid communication and client facing skills are of the utmost importance

Ability to switch from manual to automated testing when required
