DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Responsible for Selling the organization’s Original Equipment products by interacting with customers, developing new prospects and maintaining existing accounts.
Position is typically assigned a sales territory or primary customer account(s). Possesses in-depth knowledge of products responsible for Selling, including the engineering principles and specifications of assigned products.

REQUIREMENTS : RESPONSIBILITIES :
Must be able to build sales volume of existing products and search for new opportunities or design variations of new products utilizing both our textile and non-textile technology.
Must be able to develop relationships with and call on key customers throughout Northeast Mexico to facilitate effective communication between engineering and sales activities in Detroit and manufacturing or other regions.
Develop and maintain relationships with purchasing contacts.
Assist with plant trials, quality issues and supply problems.
Promotes sales of product by solicitation at the Design Engineer level.
Successfully introduce new products to customers.
Support sales effort by providing samples, data and product application information.
Participates in product / marketing strategies, trade shows, & new product development.
Routinely seek new and potential customers and applications in an effort to broaden our market and application penetration.
Understand competitors and competitive activity in the area and determine strategies with the N.A. Automotive Sales Director and Product Management to take competitive market share.
Assist the N.A. Automotive Sales Director on projects as required
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Marketing or equivalent desired
Must be fluent in English
2-5 years automotive market sales experience at the OEM
Original Equipment Manufacturing) and tier levels or non-Automotive or Aerospace markets
Experience or knowledge working with Automotive Electrical Wiring or Hose, tube and cable is a plus
Specific Experience / relationships with Ford, GM, Chrysler and / or JOE’s preferred
Any working experience in Aerospace and Commercial Vehicle is also preferred
Some experience working other functional areas such as Materials, Engineering, Customer Service, Manufacturing, Quality, etc would be ideal but not necessary
Must possess excellent human relations skills and the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
