Work with various cross-functional teams within the country to identify, assess and develop action plans with respect to international trade.
Provide operational support of all shipments into and out of Region by interfacing with Customs agents, 3rd parties, business representatives and internal team members.
Serve as central point of contact in the region for escalations and / or business inquiries.
Provide analysis, planning, advice, training and problem
solving services to ABB businesses to support adherence to Enterprise Standards and compliance with Government Customs laws and regulations.
Act as liaison to local and regional Customs officials in resolving Customs authorities inquiries and audits related to specific transactions and processes : Audit import and export transactions to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations and provide regular reporting of compliance metrics.
Participate on applicable ABB Customs Council Communities Identify Customs risk areas and develop actionable plans and procedures to mitigate those risks.
We are looking for a candidate with :
International Business, International Trade or Industrial Engineer degree with focus in import and export.
You must also have the following knowledge, skills and experience :
At least 3 years of experience in Customs & Trading Companies.
International Customs requirements.
Experience working with customs agents, 3rd parties, business representatives and internal team members.
Experience in B2B Business-Industrial sector is an advantage.
SAP and Excel.
