Our Onboarding / Hospitality Agents are the face of Sonder and our boots on the ground throughout the city. This is one of the most versatile roles at the company and perfect for anyone who loves being on the go and finds fulfillment in serving our guests.

As an Onboarding / Hospitality agent, you will be responsible for successfully executing the new property onboardings from start to finish.

Later on, you will be responsible for problem solving guest issues and satisfying guest requests throughout the day.

AT SONDER YOU WILL :

  • Act as liaison between internal teams and our logistics partner to ensure schedules and processes are followed accordingly to minimize delays in project completion
  • Coordinate, meet and support our 3rd party contractors at our apartments; this means letting in painters, wallpaper installers, furniture builders, photographers, housekeepers, etc
  • Arrange furniture and apartment items according to design mood boards and interior design instructions
  • Conduct thorough apartment walkthroughs and maintenance checks
  • Run inventory checks of all of our assets that remain in the apartments
  • Organize and document project information and updates
  • Create extremely detailed floor plans of our spaces
  • Perform punch lists and quality audit inspections to ensure new properties are guest ready
  • Instruct and supervise contractors as they paint, build furniture, hang art, photograph and clean
  • Travel to various buildings / cities as required
  • Respond to day-to-day guest requests, issues, and other outreach using the Sonder Service Principles
  • Guide guests through the Sonder experience, ensuring they have an amazing first impression
  • Troubleshoot minor maintenance and technology issues (e.g., upholstery stain removal, light bulb replacements, access to units, wifi connectivity or overseeing contractor appointments)
  • Perform housekeeping quality audits and inventory checks in our units to ensure that hospitality standards are met consistently and robust feedback to our vendors is relayed in a timely fashion
  • Maintenance and organization of working spaces including office, storage closets, warehouse and others, as assigned

  • Ability to lift / carry items and stand / walk for extended periods of time
  • This position requires a smartphone and a car in select markets with valid Driver’s License, clean driving record, and proof of insurance
  • 2+ years experience working in hospitality, service, and / or customer experience
