The Senior Accountant will ensure a timely and accurate monthly close process in accordance with US GAAP as well as local statutory regulations.
This position will provide both financial and operational analysis of the Mexico Area including monthly and quarterly reporting requirements.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, have great communication skills and be driven to build operational knowledge and analytical skills.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
Prepares monthly balance reconciliation
Assists in the monthly Accounting books for the Mexico area
Assists with the A / R and A / P functions for the Mexico area
Helps to ensure that all Regional SOX controls are accurately completed and appropriately documented
Provides the Finance manager with all analytics, financial and operational, required to manage and grow the business
Manages time in accordance with global team calendars to effectively communicate process updates and changes
Education, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field required; Master’s degree a plus.
5 yrs’ of hands on experience required
Intermediate MS Office skills a must, with heavy focus in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Month-end / quarterly close experience required
English fluency preferred
Navision / JetReports proficiency a plus
