The Role
The Project Manager is responsible for managing the overall teams and project items for automation projects. This position will develop and manage multiple, concurrent project plan schedules while monitoring projects daily to track progress against the work plan schedules.
This position also identifies any risks, communicates those out to internal and external teams and follows-up on issues throughout the implementation of the project.
The Project Manager will also be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the financial performance of the project.
Responsibilities :
Managing the overall project management process
Act as main customer contact throughout the project
Developing project plans and managing multiple, concurrent plans
Holding regular status meetings and documenting project status
Completing and submitting internal and external status reports
Notifying team members of their deliverables and due dates
Proactively communicating information needed by team members to complete their tasks
Participating in customer meetings
Identifying, documenting, and tracking issues, risks, and dependencies
Seeking out, implementing, and documenting problem resolutions
Identifying and implementing process improvements
Following-up on open issues and action items to ensure they are resolved
Ensuring that Egemin leadership has a comprehensive understanding of projects, timelines, dependencies, etc.
Supporting business development efforts, as requested
This position may include any other duties assigned by the company
Travel as business needs require - 50%
What We Are Looking For
Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in Business, Finance, Engineering, or related field
5+ years of project management experience
Prior experience managing people or processes
Experience in project management, product development lifecycle, or process management
Experience managing automation projects that include (but are not limited to) : automated guided vehicles, automated storage and retrieval systems, conveyor systems, warehouse management software, etc.
Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
Ability to understand information quickly, derive insight, synthesize information clearly and concisely, and devise solutions
Inclination to take ownership of assigned projects and initiatives and independently drive for results
Ability to interface at all levels of the organization within and outside of the company
Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills
Strong meeting facilitation skills
Demonstrated self-confidence, honesty and integrity
Understanding and commitment to the philosophy, mission, values and vision of Egemin Automation Inc.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Office and ERP system
Excellent Negotiation Skills
