We are looking for a high-performing Account Executive in Mexico to help us meet our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives within the Latin American region (Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean). You will be responsible for helping to develop and execute all key business development strategies, tactics and action plans required to achieve your financial targets. You will be responsible for operating remotely and reporting into Headquarters in Mexico.
Analyze market, industry and prospects to identify sales opportunities and prepare concrete plans and campaigns, strategic and tactical, to realize opportunities.
Execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base in your territory. Own and hit/exceed annual sales targets.
Build both short- and long- term forecasts and proactively report biweekly and as required advances towards goal.
Build strong and long-lasting customer business relationships.
Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives.
Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations.
Be technically sound to be able to demonstrate our educational technology at a high level as well as a thorough detailed level.
Communicate effectively and feel comfortable interacting with instructors, technologists, department heads, deans and provosts.
Collaborate with regional marketing, sales development and corporate central and product marketing teams to drive and execute sales development efforts that are relevant to the.
Entrepreneurial and experienced sales person who thrives in a fast-moving environment and understands how to build out a territory for the long term (proven experience is a must).
Strong sales hunter mentality focused on finding, qualifying, engaging and closing customer accounts.
Goal oriented and self motivated to reach goals.
Must have an ownership attitude and ability to problem solve. Must be highly self-motivated with the proven ability to work independently.

Experience in selling Business to Business and educational technology.
Experience in collaborating with Growth Marketing a plus.

Must be comfortable, and confident, with public speaking skills and making presentations to audiences ranging in size from one to several hundred people and multiple audiences.
Must have a positive attitude, be a team player and an active doer.
Demonstrable experience in developing client-focused, differentiated and achievable solutions.
Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English and in Spanish. Must be fluent and have a broad vocabulary English and Spanish.
Thrives in crafting messages, from emails to presentations and proposals in a relevant and appropriate manner to the audience different personas.
Knowledge of CRM systems.
A Bachelor degree from an accredited 4-year institution.
7+ yrs. proven sales experience, consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
Possession of a valid passport if international travel is required.
Must be able to travel consistently, and sufficiently, to achieve assigned sales projections or quotas.
Familiarity and experience with technology products in the Education environment is considered a must.
