To strengthen our LATAM IT Team, we are looking for a Functional Relationship Manager located in Mexico to complete our Analytics, Data and Integration (ADI) Department.

This job position is part of the ADI LATAM Team, which covers the whole LATAM region, including Mexico, Central America, Caribbean Islands and South America.

However, this specific position will predominantly support the Mexican Market.

The Functional Relationship Manager (FRM) helps business leaders shape their strategies with regards to product adoptions.

S / He acts as the single point of focus between an organization’s senior leadership (Function, Market, GMB, CoS, etc.) and multiple IT Product Managers to avoid complexity from the IT receiver point of view and to provide a clear accountability for them.

FRMs advocate their stream's product portfolio as needed in coordination with their Business relationship Manager (BRM).

Acting as a trusted advisor to the business unit(s), an FRM provides awareness, direction and guidance to business stakeholders to receive the best value and innovation, stimulates, surfaces, and shapes business demand for the IT’s assets and capabilities.

FRMs develop a deep understanding of the part of the business to which they are aligned and maintain strong relationships with relevant business leaders.

The role will largely entail :

    A day in the life of...

  • Close collaboration with senior functional leaders and business stakeholders
  • Orchestrating the delivery of relevant analytics solutions with a clear focus on business outcome and tangible ROI.
  • Evangelism as a recognized thought leader, player-coach, and subject matter expert within the practice of prescriptive and predictive analytics to drive competitive advantage
  • Engaging with BRMs and Key Business Stakeholders to understand each Market or Business MBP and Must Win Battles and advise on how the existing ADI Products can enable or facilitate them
  • Act as the main ambassador of ADI Products in his / her proxy countries
  • Orchestrate the delivery of approved Analytics Autonomy locally approved initiatives, under the advisory umbrella of the Regional Solution Architect for that area.
  • Manage and prioritize all new requests with Receivers and their stakeholders

  • Ensure adequate level of support is in place for those solutions, in line with their impact to the business
  • Engage with ADI Regional Tech Leads and Solution Architects to maintain awareness of each Product roadmap and of best in class solutions developed by other markets
  • Engage with innovation communities in his / her proxy markets, identify innovative ideas and PL4 solutions developed in those markets which have potential for sharing and ensure they are shared with other markets through ADI / FRM communities or networks
  • Capture demand for product functionalities and ensure they are evaluated and considered with the due relevance, acting as ambassador of these improvements until they are incorporated in the Product Roadmap or rejected
  • Understand the Local (Production Line 5) solutions and stimulate their replacement by PL3 / PL4 solutions as soon as it is technically feasible
  • Coordinate crisis management and communication in case of major disruptions caused by issues in any ADI Product
  • Ensure adequate Root Causes analysis and mitigation actions are in place for ADI related major incidents
  • What will make you successful

  • Bachelor's degree (Science, Business or equivalent preferred)
  • Minimum 10 years in Data and Analytics related Roles
  • Content-driven thought leadership in transforming processes and decision making with Analytics, especially in the finance, commercial and product supply domains.
  • Previous experience in translating enterprise-level and market-level business objectives into a relevant portfolio of analytics capabilities, scaled products and services.
  • Proven track record as hands-on Business analytics advisor of senior business leaders and executive committees.
  • Sales or Product Management experience with P&L responsibility in the consumer goods industry is a plus.
  • Good understanding of Analytics workbench features to influence the data science platform roadmap
  • Self-starter with strong communication and influence skills, at ease in matrix organizations
  • Good level of awareness and exposure to the below topics :
  • Implementing and supporting large ERP systems
  • Enterprise Reporting
  • Analytics Tools and technologies
  • Agile development and Design Thinking
  • Project management (ownership) experience is required.
  • MS-Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
