Corporate Director of Entertainment
Based in Mexico
International Hotel Company with multiple award winning brands and a leader in all-inclusive resorts seeks the talents of a Corporate Director of Entertainment in charge of all the operational areas of the entertainment department for the Americas region
The Corporate Director of Entertainment will report to the VP of Operations for the Americas and will be based in Mexico.
They will have four different Country Managers under their direct line of report and a team of more than 700 talented members that include dancers, production staff, musicians, and sport and activities staff.
The main focus of this position consists of two main areas : first to standardize the logistic operations of the entertainment department across more than 20 properties and four different countries.
Second to revamp the kid s centers, sports complexes and night entertainment options that are currently offered in all the resorts.
Plus, they will be in charge of sourcing and developing strategic alliances with outside production and musical companies who will bring their shows in-
house and rotate them across our client s hotels
We are looking for a leader with an outside the box thinking attitude and a vision to implement new concepts according to the latest entertainment trends
Mandatory Requirements :
Past experience on a corporate entertainment department overseeing multiples properties such as hotels, cruises, resorts or theme parks
This position requires extensive travel, a valid passport is mandatory at time of interviewing
The Corporate Director of Entertainment will be based in Mexico
Oral and written fluency in English and Spanish
Proven records and examples of implementing new projects and ideas in multiples hotels and countries and in accordance to the new industry trends in the areas of musical productions, in-
house day and night activities, health and fitness and kids centers
The Corporate Director of Entertainment should be ready to join our client within the next 8 - 10 weeks from receiving an offer
