Scope : Specific :
Responsible for providing Operational HR Service for a small country or unit in a country, supporting typically <350 employees and direct labour cost of Circa $to be confirmed, with a revenue value of <$100k
Manage an HR team (3-4 reports, typically D02 and below)
May be responsible for third party vendors for outsourced HR activity
May be accountable for HR budget / costs
Adapts departmental plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges
Requires in-depth knowledge and experience
Decisions are guided by policies, procedures and business plan; receives guidance from manager
Generally domestic accountability
Primary Responsibilities :
The role holder may be required to complete all or some of the following activities :
Manage the integration and alignment of HR resources and management practice across the country to agreed HR Model
Support the consolidation of strategic workforce programs to create a balanced country plan
Manage and coordinate the deployment of the business specific / Corporate HR programs within the country
Maintain focus on the people management skills of line managers to ensure effective skills and practice.
Consult with Centers of Expertise on the introduction of local programs, for example benefit programs
Assume Board and statutory accountability for local matters such as Workers Council, Governance & Compliance and H&S managing any issues to resolution
Act as the point of contact for all internal / external bodies and partners and represent Conduent externally with Clients
Support Bids / acquisitions activity as required, including supporting C Level presentations, managing the commercial terms, employee transfers, negotiations and other legal requirements
