Searching the best talent for : SENIOR BUSINESS EXCELLENCE MANAGER

Responsible for the execution of the business improvement initiatives in the plant. He / she conducts, analyzes, designs and improves the business process by identifying and influencing multifunctional teams, that are able to provide tangible results to the business through the application of methodologies or tools such as Six Sigma and lean

Duties & Responsibilities :

Under general direction and in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws / regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson, procedures and guidelines, this position :

  • Is responsible for the improvement projects related to quality, supply chain and costs reduction.
  • Will direct process improvement initiative that include resources administration, deadlines and change administration tools.
  • Supervision responsibilities :

  • Leads multiple Engineers and Technicians who are his / her subordinates.
  • Responsible for the complete direction and evaluation of his / her Unit.
  • Directs his / her subordinates according to the applicable policies and laws.


    Experience and Education :

  • Completed bachelor’s in engineering.
  • An academic degree such as master’s in science or Administration, preferably.
  • 5 to 7 years of experience. Must possess knowledge and experience in Continuous Improvement methodologies (e.g. Lean, DMAIIC, etc.).
  • The candidate should be capable of demonstrating leadership skills, display of lean manufacturing and manufacturing or transactional re-engineering processes.
  • His / her experience should include Six Sigma and lean manufacturing methodologies, project management and a strong knowledge of inter-functional relations
  • Have be capable of communicating, either orally or by writing, about the improvements that projects that have had a great impact to the business have had.

  • Preferably, to be certified as Lean Green Belt or Black Belt and Six Sigma as Green Belt and Black Belt.
  • Strong knowledge of computer packages such as Excel, Access and PowerPoint, AutoCad and other similar software.
  • Possess demonstrated analytical capacity.
  • Knowledge about finances.
  • Possess excellent communication skills, orally and in writing.
  • Bilingual, English Spanish.
  • Good interpersonal relations and ease of communication.
  • Demonstrate capacity to direct other people. Ability to work in a multicultural environment.
  • Think strategically and act tactically.

  • Be perseverant : good follow up and direction of projects.
  • Knowledge of Std Cost.
  • Knowledge of the Business from Start to Finish (Supply Chain).
  • Understand and translate the needs of the client.
  • Knowledge of Quality and Production techniques (CFM, JIT, TQM, etc.).
  • Strong leadership : Tenacious and persistent.
  • Change management knowledge (Change in the integration process).
  • Assertive at influencing and collaboration abilities and team work.
  • Tangible record of improvements.
  • Excellent and written communication.
  • Strong in the decision taking and knowledge in the solution of problems.
  • Talent development experience.

    Requires working in an office environment and / or in a Controlled Manufacturing environment.
