PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Maintenance Planner Responsible for developing of a Maintenance Program, schedules, and procedures necessary for the maintenance of equipment.
Assist and support Maintenance Supervisors and supervise J. Planners (2 direct report)
Participate upstream in the process of Introduction of New Equipment to influence their development (Design, Quality, ease of maintenance, accessibility, respect for BRP standard parts, documentation).
Analyze and propose the necessary spare parts for the equipment (quantity, min / max, delays, etc.). Discuss with OEM, challenge wear & tear parts, identify equivalences
Develop and revise different types of equipment maintenance (preventive, predictive, route, planned corrective)
Revise the maintenance management program to improve and enhance plant and facilities operations. Maintain the work order system and report any repetitive problems.
Review repetitive problem with supervisors for resolution or mitigation. Adjust the preventive programs accordingly.
Work in conjunction with Industrial Engineering, Logistics and Operations for the most at-risk equipment and act plans together to monitor them.
Be a source of relevant information on the investments made by the interview.
Provide technical support to trades people (electromechanics tech or Eng.) on concepts, recognized and effective working methods.
Work closely with group leaders to support them in equipment initiatives (up-to-date, multiple component searches, knowledge of what is currently being done in the marketplace to replace outdated components, improvement, modification to be made on the preventive ones)
Participate in the various meetings of the department on the work and analyzes to come.
Participate in different maintenance projects (major repairs, equipment optimization, obsolete equipment replacement)
Document and install procedures to follow ISO standards or other regulatory agencies
Create equipment file and documentation in the CMMS : assign asset number, ID photo, prepare the ID label, link all necessary document (drawings, operator’s manual), analyze the spare parts (have them created and ordered in the store), add them to the equipment catalog, insure the LOTO sheet has been done and linked with the CMMS, work instructions, etc)
Monitor and analyze the state of equipment in place during their useful life and until they are available through our CMMS (obsolescence & sustainability)
Organize and suggest actions to be taken through the performance indicators in place to optimize the return on assets.
Negotiate, order and schedule predictive, preventive and corrective actions planned with production / maintenance / subcontracting.
Receive and analyze the predictive reports received on equipment in follow-up.
Develop / recommend tools / methods to improve equipment reliability
Train Maintenance craft using the maintenance software and create video tutorial & E-learning
Compile data, present and explain various KPI and reporting of the Maintenance department (backlogs, schedule attainment, costs, downtime summary, cause & effect Paretos, criticality status, MTBF, MEE, OEE, PM attainment, etc.
and suggest action plans for remediation
Develop and explain balance score card for the supervisors
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED :
Bachelor’s degree in industrial maintenance technology or relevant field
Minimum of three to 3 years of relevant experience in industrial environment
Have good knowledge of the maintenance operation of factory and building maintenance
Knowledge of English both spoken and written (80%)
Knowledge of Total Productive Maintenance and Lean Production
Familiar with Criticality analysis & FMEA
Familiar with Sustainability plan
Familiar with Risk analysis and already worked with a CMMS (Guide TI, MP2, MP3, SAP, Maximo, Maintstar )
Strong leadership and accountability
Good communication skills, etc.
In-depth knowledge of equipment reliability
Knowledge of various craft skills : electrical, mechanical, controls, building mechanisms, etc.
Abilities to train and present in front of groups
Strong aptitude with computers and technology
