Primary Job Accountabilities

  • Data maintenance Learn and understand data elements and work with client to keep them up to date for use in Transplace systems and processes
  • Gap management Identify gaps in data and related processes, work with internal departments and / or client to resolve them
  • Reporting prepare and distribute reports
  • Essential Functions and Tasks

  • Maintain Plan for Every Part Database Full understanding of data source and all data elementsDevelop process to audit the data and manage audits of the dataUnderstand how data integrates with processes and look for gaps or opportunities for improvementWork directly with client to keep data updated, add new data, and make old data obsolete
  • Project Management Gather customer requirementsSchedule strategy calls with stakeholdersScope project appropriatelyDedicate required timeCoordinate subject matter expert assignments with cross-functional teams, holding all participants accountable to project milestones and deadlines.
  • Communicate to stakeholders on progressEnsure deliverables meet customer expectations in both timeliness and quality

  • Customer Relationships Communicate effective, prompt, detailed and courteous communicationsServe as consulting analyst and project manager.
  • Travel to customer site to gather data, conduct kickoffs. Run analysis, clean up data, analyze data, prepare presentation

    Knowledge and Expertise

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Products (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Ability to extract data from business intelligence and database tools
  • Knowledge of transportation management systems, SAP, Oracle or other ERP systems would be a plus.

  • 1-2 years logistics experience
  • Education

  • BS in Business, Supply Chain Management or related field
