Implement procedures to control working hours and forecast hiring needs during high season.
Manage HR Assistants, Training Coordinators, and Talent Acquisition Specialist and ensure objectives are being met.
Ensure HRIS is updated and draw HR reports for senior and corporate management .
Assist managers in organizing training and determine areas of opportunity.
Partner with managers to determine possible improvements, suggestions for changes etc.
Ensure health and safety standards are being followed.
Assess employee performance and corrective action when needed.
Coordinate HR activities and answer any questions from employees.
Address any employee related issues as they come up.
Mandatory declarations to local administrative authorities when needed.
Coordinate benefits and payrolling along with HR team.
Ensure compliance with internal regulations (e.g. dress code, badges, attitude, service standards etc).
Participate in local career fairs and partner with local agencies to recruit new employees .
Previous HR Manager experience (At least 5 years).
Degree in HR or Hospitality Management.
Experience working in a resort or hotel environment mandatory.
Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills with ability to handle stressful situations .
Experience working in Union negotiations.
Other spoken languages a plus.
