What do you get to do in this position? Looking for an ambitious and proactive Associate Controller to support Accounting, Forecasting and Business Partnership within North America Operations.
This position will assume a key role with the Center of Excellence Controlling team by supporting all financial processes, with a focus on tracking, analyzing & communicating actual and projected financial performance versus expectations to highly visible Business Partners.
share results with Business Partners, deliver the analysis and commentary in cadence as required (monthly, quarterly) including AOC (analysis of change) Lead the Quarterly Rolling Forecast process for Central Functions, standardize and coordinating with the team Manage the Forecast for dedicated Central Function Cost Centers, identify and advise actions to ensure targets are met Support country CFO to quantify and monitor cost strategy actions as needed Assist BP in the execution of projects to drive productivity and cost savings Support the Mexico & Central America COE team, acting as the SPOC for all SFC topics Collaborate with Front Office Mexico & Central America Controlling teams, influence their processes and become intimate with their scopes for consolidated reporting and analysis Participate in NAM Finance transformation projects by identifying opportunities to develop and implement continuous improvement processes that drive efficiency of the team and wider organization Maintain close relationships with Human Resources and Payroll to monitor headcount and allocations Maintain close relationship with Global teams, FiSS (US & Mexico) to monitor chargebacks and savings projects Maintain close relationship with Marketing teams, to monitor investment and expense within businesses Follow key Balance Sheet accounts to manage costs appropriately and to reduce any exposure with Finance Shared Services (FiSS) and Accounting Competency Center.
Respond to inquiries from management and provide concise, effective summary of findings Perform ad-hoc analyses required that lead to problem solving and business improving recommendations Collaborate with team members on all the above, while assisting with their development and training Qualifications We know skills and competencies show up in many different ways and can be based on your life experience.
