  • Provides site level health services under the direction of a Health Services Director and Health Services Manager.
  • Engages in direct patient care such as necessary for promotion of wellbeing and occupational health.
  • Supports the site’s Occupational Health Surveillance programs.
  • Supports and educates on disease management programs for the site.
  • Maintains individual employee medical records as required by Corporate policy & local regulatory requirements.
  • Maintains Company required recordkeeping forms and legally required records such as workers’ compensation files
  • Education, Licenses, Certifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in General Medicine (Is a must)

  • 4 years or more in the specific function
  • Knowledge

  • Occupational Medicine, coordinate and manage the medical service and the nurses in all shifts, manage suppliers (purchase orders, supplier nursing service).
  • will be responsible for carrying out specific medical examinations for epidemiological surveillance, medical attention, periodic medical exams, coordination and planning of health prevention campaigns, knowledge of NOM 035, 036, schedule availability to cover unexpected emergencies.


  • Health and Safety Fundamentals - Champions and models proactive health and safety behaviors by identifying, reporting and participating in actions to improve health and safety in order to build an interdependent culture and contribute to an injury-free workplace.
  • Health, Safety and Environmental Emergency Preparedness and Response - Participates and coordinates the emergency action plan by applying relevant regulations and best practices in emergency management to effectively mitigate risk to life and adhere to regulatory requirements.
  • Ergonomic Risk Assessment - Assesses work stations, work environments and tasks by utilizing Cummins preferred method of ergonomic risk analysis to identify, evaluate and prioritize ergonomic risks.
  • Work Related Injury and Illness Management - Communicates and documents work related injuries or illnesses through application of Cummins reporting guidelines and relevant regulations to classify and manage the event and its consequences as well as achieve regulatory compliance;
  • cares for the affected employees by facilitating clinical treatment practices and applying case management processes to restore the employee to his / her normal condition.

  • Occupational Health Management - Collaborates with health experts and employees to develop and deliver occupational health programs that maintain and improve safety, health and wellbeing.
  • Management of Health, Safety and Environmental Regulatory Compliance - Identifies, interprets and manages legal and other requirements by implementing controls, monitoring and reporting on operational performance to ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental related regulations and standards.
  • Industrial Hygiene Management - Designs and executes an industrial hygiene program by managing workplace exposure risks and implementing controls using Cummins preferred methodology and industry best practice to meet regulatory obligations and further reduce risk as low as reasonably practical to protect employee health.
  • Industrial Hygiene Exposure Assessment - Plans and conducts qualitative and quantitative risk assessments of workplace exposures utilizing Cummins preferred methodology and industrial hygiene best practices to ensure that proper controls are in place and worker's short-term and long-term health is protected.
  • Communicates effectively - Developing and delivering multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.

  • Customer focus - Building strong customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions.
