Covia is looking for a dynamic SR PROCESS ENGINEER who will have a positive impact on the TEHCNICAL SERVICES team at its MONTERREY NL, MEXICO location.

As a Sr Process Engineer, you will have the opportunity to propose and recommend process solutions in out current productive process, also evaluate and recommend technical solutions as equipment or new process focused in reduction of production cost and product quality.

Process Audits : Capex projects and process start-up Continuous improvement

  • Elaborate continuous improvement report according to problem analysis solution
  • Stablish an workplan in case of process deviation
  • Measure and take samples to analyze the information for CI process
  • Recommend and propose new solutions to operations
  • Coordinate the start-up test execution
  • Barchelor’s in Metallurgic Engineer
  • 4 years’ experience in industrial process minerals
  • Knowledge of mineral beneficiation techniques,
  • Including crushing, grinding, flotation, magnetic separation and screening, are essential.
  • Experience with silica beneficiation is a big plus.
  • The candidate must possess excellent communication, problem solving and PC skills as well as the ability to manage projects with minimal supervision while working in a team environment.

    While we prefer 2+ years industrial research experience, entry level candidates of high potential will be considered.
