Job Summary

Sells VWR’s products and services (via telephone or e-mail) to selected customer segments. Ensure customer satisfaction by providing timely and accurate support in conjunction with Customer Service


  • Responsible to drive inbound and outbound calls, to focus on maintaining and expanding business relationships / market share with existing and new customers.
  • Active interaction with customers by calls, mails, flyers, or other media.
  • Work persistently to acquire new accounts and lead generation in assigned territory or customer base.
  • Process quotations; receive orders, follow-up on Pos.
  • Take care of middle-to small accounts with ownership.
  • Leverages cross-functional resources to achieve results / meet customer needs.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • QUALIFICATIONS (Education / Training, Experience and Certifications)

  • College degree or above, major in biology / science / chemical
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in a sales assistant, customer service or marketing specialist role
  • Experienced on telesales scripts preferred
  • KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES (Those necessary to perform the job competently)

  • Good communication skills and clear pronunciation. Proficiency in written and computer skills
  • Outgoing, confident, patient personality and customer oriented attitude

    Work assignments are diversified. Examples of past precedent are used to resolve work problems. New alternatives may be developed to resolve problems.

    A frequent volume of work and deadlines impose strain on routine basis.
