Job Description :

Responsible for execution of commodity / category strategies worldwide. Executes DXC company procurement strategies, policies and tactics required to achieve objectives.

  • Ensures execution of procurement channel and category strategies in delivery of the company internal projects and 3rd party products / services when part of DXC customer solutions;
  • purchasing and buying. Coordinates purchasing activities with engineering and manufacturing departments, strategic procurement, and DXC Business Units to maintain inventories at planned levels (where applicable), ensure assurance of supply, maintain service levels, meet business requirements, and mitigate risk.

    Responsibilities :

  • Provides procurement end-to-end support assigned to a specific Country and accounts within the AMS region.
  • Acts as the subject matter expert on Procurement processes & tools.
  • A liaison between account and Buyers ensuring compliance with DXC standards.
  • Engages with Project Manager in order to gather information about what needs to be ordered.
  • Obtains / completes all pre-requisites & obtain the financial spent approval including negotiating quotes with suppliers and generate savings.
  • Creates the purchasing requisition and follows-up on purchase order creation.
  • Expedites delivery as appropriate.
  • Follows-up with the receiver to confirm product receipt and performs goods receipt in the procurement tool.
  • Collaborates with the AP team to clarify questions about orders.
  • Provides continuous PRM order execution information to the account / Industry / Country leadership.
  • Escalates to stakeholders and manage escalations on behalf on account leadership.
  • Assists in training and mentoring the Account team and related stakeholders on the DXC Procurement Process.
  • Collaborates with teams to maintain and enhance the current operations and processes.
  • Executes process improvements.
  • Education and Experience Required

  • First level university degree or equivalent experience.
  • Typically, 2-4 years of experience in procurement or supply chain function.
  • Knowledge and Skills Required

  • Mastery in English and local language.
  • Portuguese language (plus).
  • Developed understanding of process workflows supply chain and procurement processes.
  • Demonstrated analytical and technical aptitude.
  • Proficient in the use of all Microsoft Office products.
  • Strong business application skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Works across multiple countries and business.
  • Ability to foster enthusiasm and drive to succeed from team members, and lead by example.
  • Medium project management skills.
