Look What You’ll Do :
You will forge and rejuvenate technical training courses for internal and external customers! Does partnering with knowledgeable creative minds excite you?
If so, then as a member of our team you will :
Collaborate with your team to build engaging technical training content for all types of audiences.
Partner in the creation, reviewing, and testing of new technical training content with various forms of delivery - instructor-led, web-based and video.
Participate in multiple training development related projects, including refresh and review of technical product training course content and labs.
Engage with team members and Subject Matter Experts (SME’s) to develop and publish training content for a diverse global audience.
Use internal processes and tools to build and publish final content into the learning content repositories.
Coordinate testing and evaluate user experience of web-based learning content.
Focus on using your media development skills to develop engaging just-in-time technical training content.
Work with content delivery teams to provide an extraordinary customer experience when using our learning content
Your talent toolbox will include :
Show us your strong interpersonal skills and your ability to read, write and speak English fluently, with the aptitude to successfully deliver and communicate complex technical training to an internal / external audience
Experience with video pre-production and production tools and techniques.
Proficient with MS-Word, MS-PowerPoint, and graphical and rapid authoring tools
Project organizational and time management skills are ideal for collaborating with engineers, technical writers, and editors to ensure that timelines are met.
This is how you qualify for the position :
Having 0-2 years of video and media production experience is preferred.
Experience creating engaging presentation content across different delivery methods (in-person, virtual, web-based)
Experience in instructional design / technical content development is a plus.
Training delivery experience a plus.
Experience in the computer networking industry is a plus.
A degree in education, training development, engineering, computer science, internetworking technology, or related field is helpful.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
Duties are performed in a normal office environment while sitting at a desk or computer table. Duties require the ability to utilize a computer, communicate over the telephone, and read printed material.
Duties may require the ability to travel via automobile or airplane, approximately 5% of the time spent traveling.
Duties may require being on call periodically and working outside normal working hours (evenings and weekends).
Job requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
