MSI TSE Department focuses in two main goals :
TSE Organization activities include : Project Plans, SW Development (Test Programs and Drivers), SW Debug (Multiple Languages), HW Development (Concepts for Test Fixtures), HW Debug (Instruments, Cables, Harnesses, Signals, etc), RF (Design and Debug), Integration (HW & SW), Improvements to existing solutions, Documentation, among others.
Major goals for our organization : Quality, Schedule, Cost and Risk Management.
Work with Development Engineering to design, develop and implement test hardware and software for production testing of new products.
Evaluate deadlines, goals and develop project schedules.
Design, develop and implement solutions to improve test yields, reduce overall Test time, provide for test capacity increases, minimize downtime, and optimize test / process flows.
This includes implementing new processes and technologies, utilizing statistical tools, and developing innovations to existing problems and issues.
Analyzes and critiques equipment designs / processes relative to market requirements, manufacturability, costs, and technical requirements.
Identifies technical and quality problems determine alternatives and evaluate them to arrive at the most acceptable approach including conformity to specifications, reliability, cost-
effectiveness, testability, and reparability.
Identifies the need for, assesses and / or develops technical / process specification standards and participates in establishing the procedures to ensure they are followed.
Prepares and presents technical reports to influence the decision-making process. Provide technical information and participates as a speaker in technical programs.
