The Analyst, Supply Chain Financial Analytics will support the team lead of our Global Strategic Sourcing commodity savings program and act as a key advisor to senior business executives by delivering commodity insights and savings projects recommendations.

The analyst will together with the commodity savings program manager fully own the development of the project financial model and any supporting technologies across the breadth their project coverage area.

In addition the above mention will defines high-impact, long-term supply chain savings strategies at the global, regional and operational level.

Establishes and manages cross-functional, cross-regional teams to design and implement end-to-end supply chain savings strategies, projects and programs.

Manages strategic supply chain financial savings models which translate physical and financial flows into business processes, implementing product and services supply chains into the company's business systems.

Identifies, recommends, and implements opportunities for savings improvement across the supply chain. Partners with management and the extended organization to identify operational inefficiencies and new savings opportunities.

Develops recommendations based on benchmark, financial results and statistical data. Communicates strategic direction to the organization.

Primary objective is to reduce the cost of supply and meet savings goals, business and quality specifications. Adds value to the company through managing performance aspects of major contracts and subcontracts.

Responsibilities :

  • Independently structures analytical approaches and develops savings project strategies by applying advanced, in- depth supply chain and industry knowledge.
  • Interprets data to identify new opportunities, strategies, and tools to be used to optimize and maximize HPE's supply chain commodity cost and savings.
  • Leads and project manage large, cross- functional project team to achieve the single goal of driving savings in our commodity space.
  • Owns complex strategic supply chain savings projects from planning through to execution and provides findings resulting from project execution.
  • Consults with business executives on a wide range of high-level supply chain financial issues, including risk management and new savings growth opportunities.
  • Creates new frameworks for delivery and contributes to tools, templates, and intellectual capital.
  • Education and Experience Required :

  • First level university degree or equivalent experience.
  • Typically 2-4 years of experience in procurement or supply chain function.
  • Analytics Skills and Experience Required :

  • Extensive knowledge of and ability to manage complex financial analysis and modeling.
  • Advanced analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Advance skills and scripting in Bloomberg, Capital IQ, Factset or similar platform
  • Advanced fluent written and verbal communication, presentation, and persuasion skills; mastery in English and local language.
  • Advanced team and project management skills, including project structuring and managing multiple work streams independently.
  • Excellent business acumen, technical knowledge within multiple business units, and extensive knowledge in applications, technologies, and emerging industry trends.
  • Knowledge and Skills :

  • Good understanding of procurement processes, industry, and suppliers.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Good business application skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint) and basic supply chain financial modeling skills.
  • Good knowledge and use of procurement tools and applications.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal, written and presentation).
  • Good teamwork skills.
  • Mastery in English and local language
