Up (VSU) Team Leader Position Purpose Lead the planning and implementation of start-up activities to achieve the project’s criteria and vertical start-

up glide paths on schedule at budget and provide coordination with other key project elements / interfaces. Major Challenge Create VSU & Lean Project Management Culture within the team.

Engage crossfunctions for the start-up activities. Main Responsibilities Qualification on I2M / IIM- It is a pre-requisite that all Project Leads and VSU Leads be qualified on I2M & IIM.

Note : Just attending an IIM Workshop is not QualificationProject Join-Up- Become familiar with the project and collect preliminary information to begindeveloping the start-

up plan.- Team Charter developed and team communication in place.Start-Up Implementation Strategy- Identify start-up implementation strategy, obtain approval and begin to develop startupplans.

  • Ensure that current operation assessment is developed and implemented.- Ensure that a process for change management and reapplication of learnings is developed and used.
  • Ensure an issue identification & resolution process is developed and used.- Provide direction, consistency and focus.- Provide training and coaching on start-
  • up processes.- Build capability within the team on Global Standard CQV template and content.Criteria and Start-Up Glide Paths-

    Define the project’s criteria and start-up glide path and obtain approval frommanagement.- Attend Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) for key equipment.

    Commissioning PlanEnsure that : - Success Criteria are agreed (PQCDSM & VSU).- Pre-Commissioning Plan is developed.- CTPs / CTQs are identified and agreed within the team.

  • Duration of runs and products with all perquisites are defined.- Activity Mapping Matrix is built for Pre-Commissioning.
  • Activity Mapping Matrix is built for Commissioning.Qualification PlanEnsure that : - Success Criteria are agreed (PQCDSM & VSU).
  • Duration of runs and products with all perquisites are defined.- Activity Mapping Matrix is built for Qualification.- Site Specific Risks are evaluated and actions initiated.
  • Equipment & Quality FMEA is attended.- Site Acceptance Test (SAT) is attended.Verification PlanEnsure that : - Success Criteria are agreed (PQCDSM & VSU).
  • Duration of runs and products with all perquisites are defined.TT&T PlanEnsure that : - TT&T Plan is developed and following Global Standards.
  • Hiring strategy is identified.- Roles and Responsibilities are clear.- Materials Plan : Supplier(s) Material Quality and Quantity Plans are developed and aligned with start-
  • up requirements.Start-Up Scheduling- Ensure that Start-Up Planning and Implementation Schedules are developed.- Ensure that Resource Allocation Plan is developed.

    Measures and Results Reporting- Ensure that Planning and Implementation Measures and Results reporting isdeveloped and used.

  • Ensure that project team is aligned on how vertical start-up will be measured.Start-Up Budget- Ensure that a budget is developed and approved.
  • Relationships (Internal / External, Type of interactions) - Lead Vertical Start-Up Team on the delivery of successful CQV / TT&T.

    Coordinate activities with RDQ, Engineering, Planning and other relevant cross-functions.- Create benchmark platforms with CBA plant.

  • Involve Suppliers to align with CQV Plan including start-up details.The role is reporting to Plant Manager / Manufacturing Manager depending on the size of the project.
  • Calificaciones

    Academic Knowledge - Qualified on the I2M / IIM Process Working Knowledge - Clearly understands the Commercial Business he or she will support.

  • Has had leadership experience in a manufacturing site, preferred in Operations (, section lead, manufacturing lead roles).
  • Has experience leading and directing others.- Understands and is trained on some key pillars as IIM, AM, and PM. Abilities -
  • Is fluent both in local business language of the plant and in English.- Exhibits the following Lominger Competencies :
