AECOM is actively seeking an experienced, creative, highly talented Finance Assistant for immediate employment in the Mexico City, Mexico office.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to :
Ensures the functions of the EPCM team are interchangeable, flexible and adaptable to the needs of our client and our team
Responsible for all areas of EPCM workload including build projects and programs; requiring regular liaison with, Project Managers, Contract Managers and Cost Planners, with local meetings where necessary
Day to day tasks will be set out by the Finance Controller and the Commercial Manager and you will be expected to manage your own time to deliver the accountabilities and responsibilities set out below in a planned and measured manner, reporting regularly into the Operations and Commercial Managers with key performance and progress reports
Supports the Operations and Procurement / Commercial Manager
Safeguards the financial and commercial interests of the delivery program for Capex, and programs for the Mexico EPCM contract by managing and controlling commercial risk, income and expenditure
Contribute to the delivery of the program in a timely, efficient, sustainable and safe manner whilst achieving targets, meeting client expectations and enhancing the reputation of the business
Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting or Finance, and other related fields
6-12 months of working experience, preferably in international companies
Recognized experience in Project Administration and Commercial / Construction finance. Process driven, focus on detail and enjoy working with data Good grasp of IT, particularly Excel
60% bilingual English / Spanish
General Computer Office Software : High standard of Microsoft Excel including V-Lookups & Pivot Tables
Track record in providing Administrative Support in Construction environment including cost planning, tendering process, managing variations and closing Final Accounts
Experience in data entry and extracting data from financial systems such as SAP and Oracle
