Primary Purpose of the Position
A key leader in the High-Performance Team (HPT) responsible to lead and drive the development and maintenance of all standard manufacturing processes used in their area.
Ensures alignment for the High-Performance Team (HPT) concerning all process and manufacturing related issues, focusing on improving the overall efficiency of the HPT in areas such as safety, quality, waste, OEE, etc.
Align with the other key leaders of the HPT and take the lead role in the situational leadership model to make final decisions for the standard manufacturing processes, and to ensure product compliance with all specifications.
Provide support, input and expertise to set and meet the AOP targets for the HPT to ensure the overall performance of the HPT and facility
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
Based on loss analysis, lead, drive and support plant optimization for the HPT through process standardization and other systems to drive consistency and improved performance overall, making final decisions on processes needed to meet targets
Ensure the execution of the daily production requirements, coordinating with other team members, other HPT's, and others as necessary, to deliver the planned results (Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and / or Ticket)
Working within the team, develop and align the strategy and plans to deliver targets and objectives that support the overall facility targets
Provide the proper focus on Health and Safety, Environmental & Sustainability issues, to develop and maintain "Safety as a Value" culture.
Drive improvements through personal knowledge and expertise, as well as thorough the use of other experts as necessary
Coordinate and recommend procedures for facility and equipment maintenance or modification, including the replacement of machines.
Conduct Root-Cause Analysis, Time Studies, and other Analytic Techniques to provide suggested Cost-Savings.
5-10 years of related work experience.
