You will collaborate with teams across Microsoft and Microsoft Research who are building the newest, most compelling intelligent applications in the world.

We are a close-knit team of highly accomplished, deeply technical engineers and data scientists focused on delivering cutting edge technologies that impact hundreds of millions of users for Microsoft 365.

We are an infrastructure team working on deep learning inference and natural language understanding services for O365.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include some or all of the below :

Troubleshoot problems or flaws affecting the availability, reliability, performance, and efficiency of components and features.

Respond to incidents during on-call rotations by identifying the level of impact, troubleshooting issues, and deploying appropriate fixes to resolve root causes.

Implement configuration and data changes across a range of product components.

Suggest potential solutions to resolve and prevent recurring issues and bring them to the attention of other engineers.

Recommend configurations optimal of cloud technology solutions and modify the code base that defines systems or cloud technologies to improve the reliability and operability of supported products.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications :

4+ years of technical experience in software engineering, network engineering, or systems administration

Familiarity with scripting languages

Foundational understanding of distributed systems design, interactions between cloud technology layers and components, dependencies at scale, and the code that defines infrastructures.

Strong verbal and written communication skills with excellent interpersonal communication and collaboration skills

Demonstrated commitment to the success of others.

Preferred Qualifications :

Deep knowledge of industry trends as well as advances in large-scale distributed systems and cloud technologies

Prior experience with development in large low-latency high-volume services, experience with service-oriented development and cloud-based systems.

Enjoy learning and ramping up on new technologies quickly

Passion for data-driven decision making
