As Coating Engineer you'll be responsible for :

1. Manages the development and implementation of all manufacturing equipments in order to meet the QCD targets of the project.

2. Assist the Unit Manager to optimize the industrial aspects of the unit, ensuring the efficient operation of the process in line with Valeo Group and Division standards.

During the project phase :

Write the specification of the manufacturing equipment and other production means.

Monitor the production and tuning of the production equipments.

Deliver these equipment to production team and organize the production line / stations in line

Write the manufacturing instructions in English

Support purchasing in the selection and follow up of production equipment suppliers.

After SOP :

Integrated fully into the division organization within the unit Organization , accepting the support available from LH, where there is significant experience in terms of product and process.

Maintain and update the data base relating to process cycle time of the production operations.

Identify and implement cost reduction activities relating to process time, efficiency of operation and material waste.

Maintain and update the standard operation instructions and control plan instructions of all production work stations. Ensure their proper use.

Ensure the safety, ergonomics and according to the environmental requirements of all equipment operational functions.

Assist in implementing TPM (Total productive maintenance) activities

Work together with Production and Quality Department to improve products and process quality,

Assist if needed in the local sourcing of tooling and consumable items to support production.

Train and lead the Valeo Production System (VPS) network (production manager, team leaders, Method Engineers).

Write and follow up the VPS reporting

Qualifications - External

Bachelor s degree

5 years of the experience in similar position

English
