Oracle seeks a Cloud Business Operations Principal Program Manager in Guadalajara, Mexico.

To help us scale, innovate, and execute we are seeking a Principal Program Manager to work closely with a variety of internal stakeholders to design, develop and manage Supply Planning processes for margin improvement and scale of operations.

You will help ensure operational success of Oracle’s cloud expansion strategy.

The Business Operations Group works across Engineering, Product, Supply Chain, Datacenter, Finance and Executive organizations to drive Cloud Infrastructure planning, strategy and execution.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities include :

  • Advanced planning and strategic insights on server hardware supply and constraints
  • Optimization of supply timing and manufacturing site allocation with Supply Chain
  • Development of engineering and capacity management programs to mitigate excess or shortage of cloud hardware
  • Executive reporting of cloud delivery performance and operational health
  • Experience needed to succeed :

  • 5+ years of operational experience in : supply chain management, global logistics, program management, datacenter operations, or manufacturing
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills bridging between technical and business stakeholders
  • Preferred skills in data management in Excel or SQL databases
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Technology, Business Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent experience preferred.

    Manage the development and implementation process of a specific company product.

    Manage the development and implementation process of a specific company product involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products.

    Plan and direct schedules and monitor budget / spending. Monitor the project from initiation through delivery. Organize the interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project / product on schedule and within budget constraints.

    Assign and monitor work of systems analysis and program staff, providing technical support and direction.

    Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical / business skills in area of specialization.

    Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area.

    Seven years of project management, product design or related experience preferred.
