Ability to interact and resolve the technical computer issues and Services related to EUC Devices with good customer-oriented service to Harman employees
Break / Fix Activities - Resolve Incidents and Problems associated with End User Computing Devices, provide Break / Fix support, advice and assistance to employees
The Support Specialists is responsible for resolving all Incidents and Problems associated with failure or degradation of Services related to EUC Devices.
Hands & Eyes Support for servers, routers, switches. Basic understanding of networking and ability to support remote network team to troubleshoot devices
Good printer support, Basic VOiP equipment, Support for mobile devices
Install and troubleshoot the VPN client like the Cisco connect. Webex, Jabber installation and troubleshooting.
Installation, configuration and troubleshooting Desktop + laptop, hardware and software like Windows, Linux and scanner, printer, fax, VOIP phones
Installation, good troubleshooting skills of desktop client applications like MS Office, Acrobat, AutoCAD, Java, VPN Software, Symantec Antivirus, Visio, dameware, PDF creator, WebEx etc.
Good understanding of OS, application deployment solutions like Netinstall or Microsoft Deployment services, SCCM.
Knowledge of support for Mobile devices, with focus on Android
Good Administration of windows 2003, 2008, 2012 Server, Active directory, File server, DFS rights, DHCP, DNS, WINS.
Understanding or knowledge of RAID, Storage SAN, NAS, backup tape technologies.
Knowledge in network LAN, WAN, functionality of switches, routers, firewalls and VPN
Resolve L2 incidents end-user related support for site personnel as escalated by the Central IT Help Desk. Mentor to Junior team members
Ability to provide remotely support and coordinate with the Central Help Desk (level 1 issues) or assigned to the on-site IT Site Adminis
Experiencia y requisitos
5-8 years of experience supporting companies with more than 30 physical and virtual Windows servers
3 to 5 years of experience in supporting transnational companies.
Experience for negotiation with suppliers for 3 to 5 years.
Proven experience for the development and execution of the data center's technological renewal strategy.
Professional career related to information technologies.
