The Continental Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) HFL Hardware Team leader is responsible for design / development of lidar sensors from concept phase to production.
Core Responsibilities for HW HFL Team Leader :
Responsible for setting up the Hardware group and for the global alignment with other groups within the segment.
Provide coaching, mentorship, and technical leadership to team of 10 engineers.
Head count, resource, and budget planning. Including capital expenditures, travel, and training.
Provide product proposals for next generation products based on existing roadmap.
Present key deliverables to relevant stakeholders and track key milestones and schedule.
Responsible for the development and release of hardware sensors : functional requirements, release and integration release in vehicle
Support and drive product development from product concept to high volume production for automotive, and off highway applications.
Bachelors / Masters / PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or equivalent.
Experienced in all aspects of electrical design (i.e. PCB Design, FPGA, DSP, MicroController, Analog, etc).
Experienced in design for manufacturing (DFM, DFT, etc) and EMC compliance.
Minimum 10 Years managing complex technical projects and technical teams.
Excellent English communication skills (Presentation, Verbal, Written).
Experience in building up new organizations and transferring know how to new locations
Experience in Automotive high volume manufacturing.
ADAS experience, including LIDAR applications.
Experience in ISO 26262 functional safety.
