Position Purpose & Summary

This position is in charge of demand planning process for CPN Latam North business (Mexico & Colombia). Responsible for Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process this role brings all inputs and insights for better forecasting to make the business sustainable and predictable.

The Demand Planner acts as a link between Supply Chain and the different business stake holders in both communication way for product availability, inventories, risks and opportunities identified in the final Demand Plan Principal Accountabilities 30% Create, develop, implement, and maintain demand planning models, best practices, tools, templates, and processes.

This includes performance scorecards, metrics reporting, and value capture / measurement tracking tools. 20% Collaborate with Sales, RMS, Marketing, Operations and Finance departments to develop and approve accurate demand forecasts.

15% Provide leadership in the monthly IBP cycle and incorporate learnings to improve the forecast and product availability and communicate in an effective manner results, projects and strategic activities to the Leadership team and other business units in the region.

10% Develop and maintain a 12-Month operational forecast by item, distribution center and customer in SAP APO / DP system for SNP process.

10% Provide teams with timely analysis, guidance, information, and decision-making to ensure that the supply chain is in the best position to execute the demand plan, generated from the total operational forecast.

10% Be involved on process like innovation and introduction of new finish goods / raw materials. 5% Review and monitor actual sales to identify unsatisfied demand or excess of inventory.

Early detect abnormal demand and call for an action in order to avoid Customer Service impact and Maintain accountability for all Supply Chain focused metrics, pertaining to waste reduction, improved OTIF, service level agreement and working capital investment.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering or Supply Chain
  • Minimum 5 years experience in demand planning
  • English 90%
  • Hight Capacity of analysis and problem solving as well as strategic thinking
  • Demonstrated strong client and customer focus
  • Ability to learn and understand both business and technology; strong conceptual skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills Pursue and reinforce collaboration.
