In this position, you will be taking on the responsibility for the Transport Planning and Execution for US & Canada factories.
Reporting to the Region Leader, this person will be working on multiple markets around America and the rest of the world.
Responsible for transportation planning, will be able to drive and implement improvements in operations such as service level, cost and high quality-delivery.
The position is based in Querétaro, México.
You may be required to travel 25 % of your time regionally / globally.
Tetra Pak is not sponsoring work visas or relocation for this position.
What you will do
As a Transportation Specialist you will :
Coordinate the daily planning and execution processes within transport cycle : Load & Dispatch planning Freight Offer & Scheduling Yard and Load Management Tracking and Exception Management
Ensure optimal transport flows from suppliers and deliveries to customer.
Resolve issues and exceptions that might arise with transportation managed by Tetra Pak at factory, warehouse, port, airport, customs, and transportation company.
Administer and manage documentation under SCCT responsibility (e.g., export invoice, VGM, BL, customs documentation).
Ensure track and trace execution within expected service level, by monitoring visibility accuracy, information consistency and solving issues with involved parties.
Investigate operational failures, cost losses, propose solutions and lead task teams for improvements.
Manage transportation in the region, working with Warehouse, Planning and Customer Service areas to : Optimize internal and outsourced resources to maximize short and mid-term capacity utilization and efficient usage of working capital.
Secure logistics high quality of service towards customers, incl. perfect order and technical issues management / loss intelligence analysis / improvements.
Who you are
We believe you have :
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Commerce or equivalent, with a proven experience between 3 to 5 years in Supply Chain area.
Analytical, inquiring, with good stakeholder management, communication and planning skills are essential for the role.
Experience leading Transport Operations in USA & Canada Market, in all kind of transport is required.
Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office & SAP.
Experience leading WCM initiatives is not required, but a plus.
Skills in Power BI, VBA programming and Minitab are highly valued.
This position also requires fluency in English and Spanish, both written and oral. Portuguese is a plus.
