Plan, organize, provide direction and execute the strategic sourcing strategies (indirect commodities).
Identify and lead cross SBG teams to develop projects and leverage Americas spend in Capital accomplishing SBG, COE and CST objectives leading to AOP spend attainment, savings and cash flow goals.
Leads in responsible area to deliver significant savings in price reduction, value engineering and consumption reduction.
Improve working capital performance by increasing payment days and implementing MPO.
Deploy auctions to competitively bid responsible areas.
Leads the development of category strategies incorporating supplier rationalization, quality, cost, service requirements, market conditions and preferred supplier listings.
Closely aligns with SBG and COE functional leadership to ensure coordination and integration of procurement strategies.
Ensure effective and timely negotiation of all supplier agreements and holds regular business reviews with key suppliers.
Develops metrics to analyze and measure supplier's performance against commitments.
Introduce Net 120 policy to all suppliers globally
Accelerate supplier global MPO (Monthly Payment Optimization) standardization
Work with buying teams to drive non-PSL spend to preferred suppliers
Increase automation / catalogs
Increase spend on contract with preferred suppliers
Negotiate guaranteed productivity savings into all Agreements
Supplier reduction / inactivation-identify opportunity / execute
Market / commodity research / benchmarking / category reports
Thoroughly understands and adheres to Honeywell procurement policies and procedures
Thesuccessful candidate will have / be :
In-depth knowledge of sourcing, strategic sourcing processes, negotiation experience
Experience with Indirect Commodities (Capital Equipment experience a plus)
BA / BS in Business or other relevant discipline. 5+ years of relevant Sourcing experience
Proactive, positive communication skills

Capable of independently working on multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to multi-task projects and assess priorities in a complex and demanding environment
