Regulatory Reporting Manager Description Job Purpose : Citi as the leading global bank is present in 100+ countries. In each of these countries the Central Banks and other financial regulatory bodies require the timely and accurate reporting.
It requires a team of dedicated professionals, with knowledge in accounting, financial products, risk management and banking to be able to fulfil this requirement.
While working with teams located across the globe Regulatory Reporting Analysts are responsible for the accurate and timely preparation of daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly Markets Institutional Clients Group reports and regulatory returns, which detail important aspects of the bank’s Markets Transactional and therefore provide an invaluable source of information to company executives, regulators and other policymakers.
Regulatory Reporting Manager specialized in managing a Reporting Team is responsible for the implementation and regular preparation of a set of reports for Mexico within Citigroup Mexico / Latam region.
The Regulatory Reporting Manager will work together with country Markets teams, Operations team, finance teams, centralized expert / support teams, system implementation project teams, business analysts and technology developers.
The Regulatory Reporting Manager will liaise with several departments outside of Finance, most of them located in the region, there by gaining exposure to a broad range of international stakeholders.

It is part of a global area where local regulatory reporting professionals work together, to ensure consistent quality of local regulatory reporting across multiple jurisdictions and legal vehicles.

Key Responsibilities : The successful candidate will be responsible for the following :
Team management responsibility for a team of supervisors, analysts, including recruitment, goal setting, performance evaluation;
Oversee and review the production and delivery of the daily, monthly and quarterly and ;
Maintenance and further development of key controls including reconciliations, variance analysis and mapping reviews
Liaising with multiple departments (including Data Services, Operations, Markets Business, Financial Control, Risk Departments, etc.
to coordinate reporting and resolve issues
Provide support to country Finance teams or other central teams on an ad-hoc basis (e.g. audits, regulatory inquiries)
Check and ensure that procedures and policies are applied to adequately cover rules and regulations
Prepare system requirement specification for report templates
Manage data quality issues, investigate data quality improvement possibilities
Prepare report mapping logics and rules set up in new system implementation project
Ongoing review and development of processes to increase efficiency on a long term
Timely escalation of risks and issues related to project and BAU reporting
Continuously improve and update professional knowledge of regulatory reporting of the team Development Value :

BS / / BA or Bachelor’s degree or engineer; desirable in accounting, economics, financial
Knowledge and Experience :
5 years of work experience in :
financial & operational transactional reporting, risk management auditing roles or risk reporting experience.
in a regulatory reporting role is an advantage
Advanced / Fluent English is a must
desirable knowledge of Citi legal entity processes, systems and data structures would be an asset
