ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR BUSINESS SOLUTIONS Description This role is responsible to manage, plan, and administer the operational and administrative activities of several Business Applications Development teams.

Qualifications -Education : Bachelors or Engineering degree in Information Systems, Computing, Computer Systems or similar.

  • English Level : Advanced -Minimum experience of 8 o 10 years in similar positions in a professional services / consulting firm, in systems analysis and application program development : Prior experience leading captive delivery center for US companies to support IT services.
  • Prior experience in setting up ODC (Offshore Delivery Centers) for Application development and support including processes, tools and support functions critical to achieve service level expectations (mandatory).

    Experience with transitioning work from onshore and leading transformation to drive continuous improvement. In-depth knowledge of the system development life cycle, the clients’ area's functions and systems, and application program development alternatives.

    Experience managing and directing systems development or systems maintenance project teams. Strong .NET Framework fundamentals Experience managing a large development team.

    Excellent verbal / written communication, collaboration, analytical and presentation skills to lead an environment driven by customer service and team work.

    Must be able to set goals and participate in strategic initiatives for a team; and foster the development of high performance teams and interface with all levels of the organization.

    Ability to participate in development of resource plans and structures and influence organizational priorities. Knowledge required : -Experience in Software Architecture and Design Patterns -Experience in SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) -Strong understanding of SOLID design principles of programming and OOP.

  • Strong understanding of Agile Methodologies (preferably SCRUM). -Extensive working experience of Service frameworks from concept to implementation.
  • Extensive working experience of MS SQL and SQL programming. -Solid understanding of object-oriented programming design principles.
  • Extensive experience in .NET development. -Extensive experience in programming with SQL. -Domain of visual studio 2017, SQL Management Studio, GIT, Bitbucket, Jenkins and SharePoint.
  • Experience with the JIRA project management tool. Tools : -Visual Studio 2017, SQL Management Studio, Code Repository Tool (preferably GIT / Bitbucket), Jenkins, SharePoint -Experience with a Project Management Tool (Preferably JIRA).
  • Be able to act as a SCRUM Master Responsibilities -Direct the activities of offshore development managers, technical project leaders and developers.

  • Performance management responsibility for direct reports, including developing / mentoring employees to build high performing teams.
  • Specifically responsible for all phases of the system development and implementation process including analysis, design, development, testing, and ongoing support for the client area's application systems in an environment of diverse development platforms.
  • Function as a primary contact responsible for fulfilling project requirements. Coordinate activities with IT management.
  • Consult with functional management in the analysis of short and long range business requirements and recommend innovations which anticipate the future impact of changing business requirements, hardware and software on the client area(s) applications and systems.
  • Lead technical teams of App DEV, Support, Security, and Data Management teams for ongoing support and project work - Significant contributor to innovation that has impact and creates a high financial / client value / efficiency impact within department.
  • Responsible for project planning, scheduling, status reporting and project budgets. Establish and analyze staffing requirements within guidelines.
  • Responsible for implementing projects consistent with long-range IT plans and installation standards. -Develop and execute an application roadmap for existing applications including technology upgrades, maintenance, and issue resolution.

    Management Responsibilities -Hiring, onboarding and building high performance team to deliver application development and support services working across geographies.

  • Responsible for the success of overall work migration effort from onshore and ensuring operational readiness. -Establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) working with the US tower leads.
  • Leading Transformation to drive continuous service delivery experience. -Institutionalize key processes critical to the successful delivery from offshore center including but not limited to SDLC, high performance team with cross skill and upskill methodology implemented, follow the sun support model in collaboration with India and US delivery centers.
