TE Connectivity's Distribution & Logistics Teams manage the efficient flow of goods, services and information between point of origin through customer placement in order to meet customer requirements or internal business objectives.
They create integrated processes among internal functions such as operations, purchasing and logistics, and outside suppliers.
They also focus resources on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through various production processes, and establish key performance metrics and benchmarks relating to supply chain planning / forecasting to measure actual performance against goals on a regular basis.
What your background should look like :
Responsible for an effective follow up, in regards to requirements by Business Units, such as reception, location, process and shipping of material from Hermosillo Logistics Distribution Center.
Demonstrates an understanding of the standards and objectives established in order to achieve client’s expectations.
Receives shipping orders from Business Units, follows up requests that go from allocation, process and dispatch of material. Key contact.
Schedules transport and coordinates special services for pick up and shipping of material.
Responsible of starting investigation of incidences regarding clients complaints, constant communication with transportation team.
Follows request of clients, like modifications of attributes for orders in system, as well as cancellations. Executes adjustments on inventory, under Supervisor’s requests.
Releases and monitors our daily workload, reviews progress and finalization of shipping orders and is in constant communication with Operations Supervisors to manage problems presented and urgent requests.
Monitors and coordinates shipping orders from Cross Dock.
Performs inventory audits and cycle count activities, investigates root causes and helps to apply corrective actions.
Asses and helps to initiate improvement proposals for the operations of the DC.
Monitors scorecard of transit of materials and explores reasons behind delays on delivery of these ones.
Carries out activities according to Planning and Inventory Supervisor requirements.
1 year of experience in high volume distribution centers or logistics industry. Applies professional internships.
Excellent communication skills
Proficient in English (oral, written & read)
Ability to work under pressure in a monitored environment
Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Power Point
