Qualifications

  • Degree in Statistics, Economics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics
  • 0-2 years of experience with a reputed analytics firm in the field of business intelligence and / or Advanced Analytics
  • Statistical programming software experience in SPSS & R is desirable
  • Industry experience in Consumer Goods / Telecom / Retail is a plus
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to disaggregate issues, identify root causes and recommend solutions
  • Adept at forecasting, regression analysis, and segmentation work
  • Ability to interact in a fluid, demanding and unstructured environment where priorities evolve constantly and methodologies are regularly challenged

    What You'll Do

    You will work within the data services team, helping solve analytically complex client problems in the marketing domain, applying and administering analytical / modeling tools and techniques and drawing managerial insights through statistical techniques and predictive modeling.

    In this role, you will apply and administer analytical / modeling tools to draw managerial insights through statistical techniques and predictive modeling.

    You will perform statistical analyses in client engagements to support marketing efforts, such as customer segmentation, brand equity analyses.

    You will also support simple data analysis requests pertaining to McKinsey's proprietary consumer insights databases.

    As a junior analyst, you will support the development and maintenance of proprietary McKinsey marketing techniques and other knowledge development projects.
