The Global Presales API Management team is looking for talented and motivated solution consultants that want to have a career in preparing, presenting, and convincing customers of innovative TIBCO solutions.

As a API Management Solutions Consultant, you would work closely with TIBCO’s global sales team in understanding the customer’s problem, designing / building a prototype, and presenting the solution.

You will have the opportunity to learn leading edge approaches in API management in conjunction with analytics, event processing, and integration across a variety of verticals and cloud technologies.

What You'll Do

  • Quickly identify, develop, and present innovative solutions to a customer’s problem.
  • Play a key role in uncovering opportunities to provide additional solutions within existing major accounts.
  • Work with experienced account managers in creating opportunity plans and forecasts.
  • Work with business and technical analysts to assist in exploring solutions and deriving more value from TIBCO’s solutions.
  • Work closely with TIBCO leading edge products in API management, analytics, cloud, event processing, and integration.
  • Mentor junior team members by providing professional advice that assists with their skill development.
  • Continually learn and recommend technologies, architectures, and solutions that meet challenging customer problems.
  • Learn effective approaches in persuading customers of the benefits of a TIBCO solution.
  • Who You Are

  • Bachelors of Computer Science / Math or equivalent.
  • Programming experience using technologies such as RESTful API’s, web services, Java, JavaScript, etc.
  • Presales experience in delivering customer focused solutions and a history of supporting sales cycles is a plus.
  • Advance technical knowledge in API management technologies, software integration, event processing, or visual / advanced / streaming analytics is a plus.
  • Adept at all aspects of field and C-level customer interactions including presentations, demonstrations, and proof-of-concepts.
  • Must be proactive, intellectually curious, motivated and not afraid to challenge the status quo or offer innovative new ideas / approaches.
  • Experience in software developing, designing, and architecting software solutions.
  • Exposure to cloud technologies and solutions is a plus.
  • Exposure to SaaS technologies such as PaaS, IaaS, etc. is a plus.
  • Some vertical knowledge is a plus, but not required.
