The Oracle Database Administrator will be based in Guadalajara, North . is responsible for Enterprise design and implementation of strategic architecture for hosting ERP, Supply chain, Financials and B2B databases in 24x7 environment.
DBA role also requires providing operational support for multiple database technologies part of Global Data and Analytics Operations Organization and familiar with large and highly available platform.

Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do :
Responsible for day to day support, documentation and execution of standard operation procedures
Must ensure accuracy and completeness of data in master files and various support tools such as base dictionaries
Maintains security and integrity controls
Monitors policies, procedures and standards relating to database management
Responsible for delivering some level of conceptual design, logical database, capacity planning, external data interface specifications, data loading plan, data maintenance plan and security policy
Documents and communicates database design features and architecture
Participates in meetings with internal / externa customer resolving problems
Responsible for database maintenance, controls thru ITIL SNC Change Management
Complies with Flex best practices and policies

Here is some of what you’ll need (required) :
Five plus years’ experience in 10g, 11g and 12c on Unix platforms (Linux / Solaris / Windows)
Solid skills managing Standby Databases (Oracle Data guard)
Strong Backup and Recovery skills, cloning, duplicating databases
Experience Migrating Databases across platforms
Experience working with Cloud Database technologies
Database Performance analysis and tuning
Knowledge Patching and upgrading databases
Strong UNIX scripting for DB administration
Knowledge in Postgres / MySQL DB administration
Knowledge in 10g / 11g / 12c Grid Control administration and usage
Abilities to study problems, collect dates, establish factors and draw correct conclusions
Ability to interpret variety of technical instructions in a mathematical form or diagrams
Ability and attitude to auto study modern technologies
Attitude working as team, knowledge sharing, out of the box thinking
Good and structured communication skills, speaking & writing

Bachelor’s degree in a technical field of study (preferred computer science, automation, informatics, electronics, telecommunications)
