Controller OpportunityWe currently have an opening for a Controller at Android - Saltillo The Plant Controller is a valuable member of the plant’s Leadership Team and has full P&L responsibility for the facility.
Plays an active role in developing, monitoring, and achieving the operations annual goals and objectives. Provide financial, analytical, and decision making leadership to the local team members, while maintaining an ongoing relationship with the overall direction of the company.
This person needs to thrive in a team environment and spending time on the floor to remain in touch with the daily operations and the ever changing atmosphere.

Primary Job Responsibilities
Overall financial responsibility for the operations and all other related activities at the plant, while holding your local team accountable to the results
Monthly financial reporting and financial analysis to the Senior Leadership group
Update and track plant dashboards
Daily, weekly, and monthly financial reporting to your local team as well as to the Corporate offices
Prepare annual budgets, monthly / weekly forecasts and analyze variance to each on a month to month basis
Maintain all A / P, A / R, non production purchasing, and payroll
Monitor and manage all aspects of the plant’s perpetual inventories to ensure no shortages occur
Lead the monthly physical inventories
Monitor Engineering Changes to ensure no negative financial issues result from the change
Participate in layered / internal audits to the company’s Business Systems
Report financial progress to the local team as well as the Senior Team through monthly management reviews
Day to day accounting functions
Weekly forecast of prior weeks results and possible future events that veer from the last forecast or budget
Complete knowledge of the operation at the facility and consistently offering suggestions for improvement
Monitor the plant spending to ensure that the facility is acting fiscally responsible
Monthly deliverables to both the local team and the Corporate Team
Complete report out of monthly results
Complete analysis of variances to both our monthly forecasts and annual budgets
Monthly forecasts and analysis to budget and prior month forecasts
Updated monthly balance sheet activity
Complete breakdown of Accounts receivable position
Complete adherence to the Insert Company Name Business Systems
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum 7-10 Years accounting experience with very strong operational prowess in the automotive industry, specifically Tier 1 supplier experience with the OEM’s
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting / Finance (minimum)
Prior Plant Controller Experience a must
Strong written and verbal communication skills and inter personal skills
Strong experience in creating / reviewing annual / monthly / weekly budgets and forecasts
Experience in month closing process

Ability to manage multiple projects at one time with high importance and confidentially
